Drei handgemachte Tracks
Schon letztes Jahr begannen die Aufnahmen der Songs. Durch mangelnde Zeit zum gemeinsamen Produzieren verzögerte sich die Fertigstellung des Tonträgers. Letztendlich sind auf der Demo EP 'This is Oneness' drei fertige Stücke entstanden, die auch gleich verschiedenen Facetten widerspiegeln.
Der neue Tonträger ist speziell für Veranstalter entstanden. Wir verzichteten absichtlich auf Effekte und zusätzliche Sounds vom Sampler. Diese Demo EP spiegelt das wieder, was wir auch live spielen. Nur das Live-Erlebnis ließ sich nicht auf der Schiebe konservieren.
Das erste ist passenderweise 'Get On Board' als grooviger Reggae zum Einstimmen. Gleich danach der Song 'Victim' in einer tanzbaren Neuauflage. Als letztes dann 'Thank You Lord' als Repräsentant der Songs mit anderen musikalischen einflüssen. Oneness hat Reggae zwar als Basis gewählt, ist darauf aber nicht festgelegt. Es wird gespielt was gefällt. Music for life.

Da die gleichen Songs auch Teil der "Get on Board"-EP sind, kann man diese bei Jamendo anhören und runterladen.

Als Alternative Bietet sich ja auch die 'Get on Board EP' an. Die enthält die 3 neuen Tracks und noch 6 bereits veröffentlichte Songs.

His voice is magic, filled with smoothness and great reggae-ness in his strong, charismatic, energy filled voice. With good lyrics to match and with a perfect groovy, cool, worldly, dance-hall, atmospheric-al, appealing music to match this mini album in general.Let alone has a decent band and good steady, rhythmical drummer and electronic guitarist as well.

I'm a victim of the good mood present of this album. I'm a victim of the lyrics as well, deeply. This is worth listening to over and over again. Great voice, refreshing sounds !
Now on the down side: I feel some seconds fail to live up to the high standard set up by the rest of the album. I just might also... whish they pulled instruments together a tiny tad differently, or that the equalizer was set up differently. But don't expect this to sound unprofessional at all, quite the opposite.
